Hurdles
  • Extroverted Volunteers and the Pastors capacity to train new volunteers,
  • Getting guests through the front door.
  • More leaders are needed. It would be nice to have a leader that oversees the greeters, one that oversees the cafe team, etc. volunteers join a team and get told what to do at first l, but then there is never any check in making sure everyone is on the same or understanding what to do. Our volunteers are not asked if they think any changes need to be made to make the experience better. They would have that insight.
Enablers
  • We seem to be becoming a club instead of a missional church and we need to address this.
  • WE want people to walk in and fell like they are a part of the family. Before they leave for the day, we want them to want to come back.
  • First impressions are huge and make or break a person’s decision to come back.
