Hurdles
  • church culture of expecting the pastor to do everything, almost a blindness to what needs to be done.
  • No one leading the team and no program.
  • We act too slow. Though small, it seems like every decision to grow is stopped with insurance or entities wanting to use the space not being non ptofit. And mostly we don’t have the man power.
  • We do not have a good retention rate for people returning after their first or second visit.
  • Not enough members worship in person
Enablers
  • Hospitality: the mandate to welcome the stranger
  • We have visitors and rarely do they become members or even return for another visit.
  • To keep the church running.
  • We want to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable. We are a small but friendly group.
  • Guests come and are welcomed but often don’t come back
