Hurdles
  • At this time due to the pandemic, many people still have not returned to church which leads to a shortage of volunteers and many volunteers may become weary with serving every service. More volunteers are definitely needed. More training and casting vision to keep them motivated.
  • None
  • I wouldn’t say that we have a hurdle because my church team has the same vision as the leaders
  • Harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few
  • The enemy
  • If everybody agrees so we can talk about it to solve this problem
  • 1. Proper training for ministry departments for new volunteers (not saying all but some) 2. Better communication/participation i.e. dialogue within ministry departments (not saying all but some) 2. More visible signs i.e. welcome, restrooms
Enablers
  • We want our guests to know that we value them, that we prayed for them to come and prepared for them to come. We want them to feel at home and experience the presence of God every time they come.
  • We want them to want to come back and bring family and friends
  • My church prepared to greet guest at all times, but extra training is always useful to make excellence look great
  • Increase the Kingdom of God
  • Because they have made a decision to be there for the people and hopefully they will be able to meet
  • Because we are leaders and we lead by example and we have to a faith that things will come together
  • Being Guest Ready is very important for multiple reasons. 1. To make their comfortable for the Experience from the parking lot, building entry and welcoming into the sanctuary. 2. Making sure they know the structure of their needs i.e. restrooms, kids area. 3. Guest Ready is important for church referrals from their experience.
