Hurdles
  • The pandemic’s pull on people to not get involved due to their fear of catching COVID.
  • Fears that people might have by stepping out and saying hello?
  • The current world’s situation unfortunately.
  • Covid, the fear that exists in people about catching this virus.
  • Pandemic and phases are restrictive and limiting at times.
  • The ongoing pandemic has come with unforeseen difficulties in this area, as well as we don’t always love coming out of our comfort zones which for a lot of people includes approaching strangers
Enablers
  • We care about the unsaved and we want them to not come for a show, we want them to feel cared for by people who emulate Jesus.
  • I think during a pandemic many are afraid to connect with those they don’t know. So I think learning to do this in a safe appropriate manner is so important. There shouldn’t be any excuses for not being a welcoming church family.
  • From my personal opinion our church has been fully guest ready. It may differ now due to the current situation as we speak but nevertheless we never shun guests away therefore we are always ready! And churches should be always ready as christ once said we always have to be on our feet expecting the unexpected
  • You cannot introduce Jesus to people who dont feel welcomed.
  • First impressions are lasting ones.
  • One of the biggest callings of our faith is community service and one of the biggest ways to do that on a weekly basis is for our church to be welcoming to anyone who may feel drawn to attending at any moment
